Mariza is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with doctoral-level training and extensive experience working with adults across complex and specialist settings.

Her research on mentalising, attachment, and childhood trauma has been published in collaboration with the UCL Anna Freud Centre and Professor Peter Fonagy — one of the world's leading figures in attachment theory. This research background informs the depth and rigour she brings to her clinical work.

Mariza has worked across specialist NHS services including trauma-focused psychotherapy, cancer support, and neurodevelopmental services. She works integratively — drawing on CBT, Schema Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, and trauma-focused methods — tailoring her approach to each individual rather than applying a fixed model.

She sees clients online and works with adults across a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
