CBT Therapy Glasgow | BABCP-Accredited CBT Therapists
Focused therapy & practical change
Sometimes you don’t need to understand everything before you can start feeling better. Focused therapy can help with difficulties such as anxiety, panic, low mood and stress, using practical, evidence-based approaches to understand what is keeping the problem going and begin making changes.

Where it’s helpful, we can also look beyond the immediate symptoms and begin joining the dots between what is happening now and patterns or experiences from the past.

Focused therapy is often relatively short-term. Some people find 6–10 sessions enough, while others benefit from 10–20 sessions depending on what they are working on. We’ll discuss this with you at the beginning and review progress together as therapy develops.
Clinic sessions are available in person in Glasgow or online across the UK.

Why BABCP accreditation matters
All of our CBT therapists are BABCP accredited. You can check your therapist’s current accreditation on the official BABCP CBT Register.
Our CBT therapists are BABCP accredited, meaning they have completed recognised specialist CBT training, supervised clinical practice and competency assessment, and maintain their accreditation through ongoing clinical work, supervision and professional development.

They work with evidence-based psychological models and established treatment approaches, while adapting therapy to the individual. CBT here is structured and informed by research, but it is not a rigid one-size-fits-all programme.

CBT sessions are with Gem Thomson or Aileen CBT therapists, for 50 minutes.
